New shades for Happy Skin Second Skin Multi-Tasking Serum Concealers

It’s so awesome when brands pay attention to what people want. Yes, they heard us: Happy Skin Cosmetics has expanded their Second Skin Multi-Tasking Serum Concealers (P649) by adding two color-correcting shades and two new skin tone shades. Don’t worry, they retained the skin-caring ingredients in the formula: Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, and Kahai Oil.

There are now a total of seven (7) shades for this skin-caring concealer. Two new shades join their spectrum of skin tone concealers: Cream Beige (fair with neutral undertone) and Medium Beige (light to medium, neutral). Two new color-correcting shades also join the roster: Peach Corrector (brightens dark circles, marks, and spots), and Green Corrector (neutralizes redness).

Personally, I’m happy that they have concealer correctors again. Who else remembers their under-eye concealer in a tube? That green corrector shade is also a must-have for people like me with acne-prone sensitive skin. Get yours now at Happy Skin boutiques nationwide and online! For a limited time, save P299 when you purchase 2 shades for only P999 (instead of P1,298) exclusively at Tiktok, Lazada, and Shopee.

Cheers to Aptos Philippines’ successful first year!

Globally-renowned Aptos is known as the pioneer for minimally-invasive thread lifting products and techniques. Last year, Dr. Cyril Mitchel Agan brought Aptos to the Philippines. In its first year, the Philippines became the second-largest market for Aptos globally! To celebrate, Aptos Philippines hosted an exclusive party last May 8, 2024, at Uma Nota Manila.

"Undergoing an APTOS procedure translates to long-lasting, beautiful, and natural-looking results," says Dr. Cyril Mitchel Agan. Looking at these before and after shots, I would have to agree! Surprisingly, thread-lifting procedures normally take only 30 minutes to an hour long, but the visible results can last up to two years.

Thanks largely to Dr. Agan and the Aptos Philippines team, these procedures are now available at leading beauty clinics like Belo Medical Group, The Aivee Clinic, Kamiseta, and Lift Aesthetic Clinic. At the event, Dr. Agan revealed plans to introduce more beauty innovations for 2024. Definitely something to watch out for!

Happy birthday, GRWM Cosmetics!

Home-grown GRWM Cosmetics by beauty influencer and entrepreneur Mae Layug just turned three! It’s been a wild journey that we had the pleasure to witness. The brand shared a heartwarming reel on Instagram of their three years so far, crediting their success to all the people behind the scenes.

It’s so nice to see a local brand flourish, from being available exclusively online with limited products, to now with physical locations nationwide! I also commend the brand on using their platform to promote their advocacies. On top of that, they’re giving back to their customers with a massive sale and a giveaway.

The best part: you can still join in on the fun! Check out the full mechanics on their giveaway post on Facebook. Best of luck, goal-getters!

Rick and Morty x SHEGLAM

International brand SHEGLAM is blowing the minds of Rick and Morty fans worldwide. Yes folks, this is how beauty collaborations are done right. At one glance, you already know a lot of thought went into developing the lineup, from color selection to the ingenious packaging.

I so adore the Mr. Sanchez Cream Blush ($7.49), with the product looking like Rick’s brain! The Never Ricking Morty Setting Powder ($10.49) is next-level extra with the mirror reflecting normal Rick into Evil Rick at an angle. Get your hands on the full collection for only $105.99 on the SHEGLAM website (they ship to the Philippines for free for orders over $10!). Rick and Morty fans wouldn’t want to miss this.

And that’s it for this week’s beauty roundup! I hope you also had many things to celebrate this week, like our featured beauty stories. Until next week!
