Review and Swatches: The EB Pro Blush Palette Delivers Long-Wear

If you ask me, Ever Bilena makes the longest-wearing powder blush formula out of all the Filipino beauty brands, and the new EB Pro Blush Palette (P 325 / 12 g) doesn’t disappoint in that regard. I’ve been a fan of their blushes for a while, and this palette is a great addition to their line—especially if you're a blush lover looking for a bang for your buck. For just P325, you get four shades in each palette at 3 grams each (that’s a FULL SIZED blush we’re talking about), and that's an amazing value for the quality you're getting.

A Tale of Two Palettes

There are two palettes available: Muted Palette: Pastel and Bright Palette: After Glow. Both offer a range of shades that can work for a variety of skin tones, but they have distinct personalities.

Muted Palette: Pastel has softer, more subdued shades, perfect for medium to fair skin tones. The colors in this palette include:

  • Mauve pink - Muted cool pink

  • Muted coral - Light salmony coral

  • Warm brown - This can be used for a bronzy counter

  • Natural rouge pink - This one has a lilac undertone

These shades are perfect for creating a subtle flush, making it ideal for everyday wear. I personally gravitate towards this palette as I think it complements medium to fairer skin tones beautifully. It gives you that “natural but better” kind of look.

Bright Palette: After Glow is where the fun begins if you love more vibrant, daring hues. This palette is perfect for deeper skin tones or anyone who wants that pop of color. The shades include:

  • Brick peachy pink - This is a salmony pink color

  • Rosy pink - This is a bit more of a browny pink

  • Terracotta brown - Good as a matte bronzer

  • Bright coral - Leans more reddish coral

The pigmentation here is no joke! It’s more intense compared to the muted palette, so a light hand is definitely needed if you’re going for a more natural look.

Texture and Application

The texture of these blushes is silky, smooth, and well-milled. It's easy to blend and gives you a soft, seamless finish. However, you do need to be cautious during application. These blushes are highly pigmented, and one brush load can easily give you more product than expected. My tip? Start with a light hand (lighter than you think you need) and build up the color gradually to avoid overdoing it. This makes the palette versatile for both soft daytime looks and bold, more dramatic makeup.

Longevity

In terms of wear, Ever Bilena continues to impress. Every blush from this brand that I've tried stays on for at least five hours, even without a setting spray. And the EB Pro Blush Palette is no different! I’ve worn these blushes for up to eight hours with minimal fading when I used a setting spray, and I didn’t even need to retouch. That’s impressive, especially for the price!

Overall

If you’re blush-crazy and love having options, the EB Pro Blush Palette is a must-have in your collection. The color selection in both palettes caters to different skin tones, making it a versatile addition to your makeup kit. Personally, I’d love to see an even more desaturated palette from Ever Bilena in the future, but for now, these two palettes cover a great range of shades and intensities. Let me know what you think!
