Last weekend, I accompanied 20 winners (and their plus ones) to enjoy 3 days and 2 nights at the Shangri-La Boracay, courtesy of Watsons. I honestly used to think that no one ever really won at raffles just because I’ve never known anyone who did, and some of the winners felt the same way. There were also non-romantic pairs like the mother and daughter who enjoyed some quality family time, and the BFFs who entertained us with stories of their other trips together. It was heartening to see everyone having fun during this unexpected getaway treat, and the good news is that many more will!

I honestly didn’t think I needed a Watsons Card since I already have SMAC, but since I do shop at Watsons more (hello, beauty treats and allergy medicine!), it’s so much more sulit to use a Watsons Card when shopping there. I don’t know if I’ll ever be lucky enough to win a beach vacation but getting double the points and having access to cool events definitely make my membership worth it.
