You're invited to our 10th Anniversary Event (plus, a mystery PV Kit!)
My earliest memory of Project Vanity was writing one or two paragraphs on how why I started a beauty blog. This was in 2008. I put it up on a platform that no longer exists (unfortunately) and I remember feeling a bit ashamed about it back then. I know, why would I? It's just that I've always felt I was too, well, smart to like makeup. Why should I care about what I look like when there are other important things in life?
Then I spent the next ten years figuring that out. I learned that makeup (and beauty products in general) isn't just about outward beauty, but also a shield, sometimes, or a sword. It can also be used as a way to express ourselves. It can also be a serious hobby or even a professional pursuit, if we're passionate enough about it. Makeup empowers us to speak out, without words, even if it only involves red lipstick. It inspires us to literally be more by arming ourselves with confidence on days when it's absent.
Beyond that, I'm glad to have formed a community of wonderful women who understands that beauty is not frivolous and in fact an important part of our identity (if we choose it to be). You inspire me and the Project Vanity Team of writers everyday to work hard in sharing our mutual passion for beauty! This is why we celebrate our anniversary every year. This is why we hope you can join us in our tenth year!
On March 10, Saturday, 1-6PM, at Shangri-La Plaza (in front of Rustan's) we are holding our biggest anniversary event yet. Our theme is Tenacious because we want to highlight the fact that grit is an important quality to success; there's courage, and hope, and then there's tenacity to take you straight to the end.

Let Associate Features Editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine Gaby Ignacio tell you all about her experiences and lessons!
3:00-3:30 Panel: From Inspiration to Execution - how to take your passion to the next level . An amazing brand is not built upon just passion. We know that loving what you do can get you started, but how you make your business or project become truly great? (Speakers TBA)
3:30-4:00 Panel: The Project Vanity Team talks about their best beauty lessons . Let's get up close and personal with our favorite girls! Prepare your beauty questions too, so we can answer them at the event.
4:00-5:30 Photos and socials
