What I got from Zalora’s Tentastic Birthday Sale (only until March 27!)

We all have our go-to shopping platforms, right? What I noticed is that we visit different e-commerce websites based on what we’re looking for. There’s a place we go to for appliances, a place for cheap abubots, and then a place for more high-quality items we KNOW will be authentic. That last one for me is Zalora.
I’ve been shopping in Zalora ever since they opened here in the Philippines ten years ago. In my 20s, it’s where I bought cute work clothes and glamorous cocktail dresses for events. Now it’s my favorite for sports outfits and athleisure! I go to the gym and play tennis so I always need things to wear to the club. I find Zalora has items from Nike and Adidas that aren’t even available in their retail stores in the Philippines, so I always have one eye out! Plus, there’s always a good sale. A couple of months ago I bought a beautiful vintage-y tennis outfit from Adidas at about 20% off.
Now, in case you missed it, Zalora is celebrating their 10th anniversary with a massive Tentastic Birthday Sale up to 90% off until March 27! I already got quite a few things from the fashion section (a Coach watch, Levi’s jeans, shoes from Nike, clothes from Adidas, and a gorgeous bag from Coccinelle) at almost 40% off on average (!!!) so I’m really happy. They arrived so fast too. I even roped in my mother-in-law to buy a Coccinelle bag as well, and my husband to get some Nike sneaks - also at around 35% off. That’s crazy, right?
Aside from having a well-stocked fashion section from so many cool brands, Zalora also has a growing beauty section. Yup, you heard it! There are already so many brands, from local favorites like Happy Skin, BLK, and Strokes, to perfumes from Bvlgari and Charriol, to luxury beauty brands like Chanel, Givenchy, Elizabeth Arden, and Dyson to name a few.
I grabbed a few things from the beauty section during the ongoing sale, so here’s what I got!
I’ve always been curious about Strokes Beauty Lab, a local brand by eyebrow master Momoi Supe. I finally got to try it and everything at 25% off too. I had to get the Brow Painter in Ash Brown (P373.50 on sale with a minimum purchase of P1,995) since that’s their flagship product for achieving structured yet soft brows, and the Brow Colorist in Neutral Brown and Lucid White (P268.50 on sale) to set it. I’m also especially interested in their purple blush called Crush Blush in Risqué (P283.50 on sale). Finally I also got the Slick Gel Eyeliner in Onyx Black (P261 on sale).
Aside from Strokes, I couldn’t pass up on the tempting sale from Elizabeth Arden. They had the Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules at 30% off, at P2,170 from the original price of P3,100. I tried the brand’s ceramide capsules previously and loved it! I think a boost of Vitamin C in the formulation would help brighten my skin that’s on the drier side these days.
Last but not the least, I had to grab a set of my favorite panties. The Wacoal 5 in 1 Panty Pack (P1,395) isn’t on sale but it’s definitely worth the price tag. It might be more expensive than the average panties but I love that they’re cotton and they will last years and years! So comfy too. Just get ‘em, you won’t regret ‘em.
So yes, DO NOT miss Zalora’s birthday sale! I love that their sales are real sales - not “fake” sales where there’s actually not that much of a discount. It’s only until March 27. Happy shopping!
