Best of the Best of Barenbliss: My top four favorites

This is the year that I finally got to try Barenbliss, and honestly I should have done so a lot sooner. This brand gets so much hype on TikTok that it sometimes seems too good to be true, but I’m here to tell you that the products are in fact worth a hard-earned spot in your kit. I’ve tried almost all of Barenbliss’s products so I can tell you, with conviction, my top four picks which have made it to my regular makeup routine. Let’s go!
First is the Barenbliss True Beauty Inside Cushion (P999). It took me a while to warm up to this because at first it seemed too sheer, but actually it is one of the best skin-enhancing bases I’ve tried this year! As I’m testing it, I started to notice how my skin looks like it’s glowing from within whenever I have this cushion on. It evens out my tone nicely and has a radiant finish that never breaches the too-shiny zone. It is one of those bases that look even better the longer you wear it (up to a point, of course). A must-have for normal to combination skin!
I am also a huge fan of the Barenbliss Fine To Refine Compact Powder (P599) - I’ve emptied four compacts this year already! This offers light to low medium coverage at most (it’s not foundation) but it has an incredibly smooth finish that always makes me look like I have a good skin day. It’s super photogenic; it makes my skin look bright and clear in photos, like I’m wearing a filter. I love using this with the Barenbliss Cushion for normal days, but when I’m going to an event, it’s my go-to powder to set my full coverage liquid foundation + concealer routine.
I only wish that the compact has more powder, or even a refill option, so I don’t have to keep buying a new compact each time as I go through this powder f-a-s-t.
The Barenbliss Peach Makes Perfect Tint (P399) is hands down my favorite lip formula from the brand. Barenbliss has a lot, but this one is on top for me because it has a fresh, glossy finish and great tinting power. It gives off a young, classy vibe that I can’t get enough of! I have this in my travel makeup bags and keep a few in my foyer so I can grab one for retouching later, right before I leave the house. The shade range of the Peach Makes Perfect Tint is also pretty good - there are nudes, berries, pinks, and browns for any look you can think of. They even released six new shades recently, of which I highly recommend Peace Out and Fly High.
Finally, I also enjoy the Barenbliss Apple Makes Adorable Mousse Tint (P499). This has that quintessential K-Beauty blotted matte lip finish, and the shades are all so pretty too! I go for this when I want a matte but lightweight lip look for the day. Did I mention that this is transfer-proof too? It won’t leave a residue on surfaces once it has properly dried and set. I love Coral Wave as an everyday coral nude color and Burgundy Heat for a little bit of attitude.
