Patrick Ta x Barbie™

We’ve all seen those cute little Barbie makeup sets at the toy store. Now, big girls (and big boys) can get that legit Barbie pink for their makeup looks thanks to the limited-edition collaboration between Mattel and Patrick Ta! The Patrick Ta x Barbie™ Set ($64) includes a Blush Duo and Lip Plumper, perfectly coordinated for that perfect power pink monochromatic look.

The Major Headlines Blush Duo included in the set is in the limited-edition shade She’s a Barbie™ Doll. The celebrity makeup artist recommends using his signature ‘crème over powder’ layering technique for that skin-like glowy flush! The Major Volume Plumping Lip Gloss is in the shade Malibu Dream House. It gives an instant plumping effect without the sting, with a flattering sheer pink gloss that doesn’t feel sticky on the lips. The vivid fuchsia pink shades are ultra flattering on many skin tones!

Each Mini Brands x Ulta Beauty Series 1 toy ($9.99) contains five (5) random items, and will be available online and in-store starting October 6th. Could the “Series 1” in the product name be a hint of more to come?

Pixar Movie Collabs: Catrice x Finding Dory and Essence x Up

Happy news: Catrice and Essence have released two new collections as part of their collaboration with Pixar. The Catrice Finding Dory Collection and Essence Up Collection are a mix of fan-fave and new products from the brands and are now available in Europe. Let’s take a closer look.

Relive the vivid colors under the sea with the Catrice Finding Dory Collection. Treat yourself (and your best buddies) to a Hand Cream Set. Just looking at the collection already makes me happy! Dior Fall 2024: Plan de Paris

Dior Beauty’s Fall 2024 new releases take inspiration from a vintage 1950s silk scarf featuring a print with the sights and streets of the brand’s beloved origin city, Paris. The chic Plan de Paris print is featured on limited-edition packaging.

The Diorshow 5 Couleurs (P6,050) eyeshadow palettes are named after iconic Paris locations. “Each palette is designed to adapt your makeup to suit every occasion and every desire. The top three shades combine for harmonious and subtle shading, ideal for daytime. The bottom three shades let you create a more expressive, bold and intense makeup look,” says Peter Philips (Christian Dior Beauty Creative Director).

Complete your eye look with the Diorshow Stylo (P1,850). Perfectly complementing the Diorshow 5 Coleurs eyeshadow palettes, the shimmering pink 836 - Pearly Rose and metallic blue 196 - Pearly Cobalt shades are a nod to the Parisian sky by day and night.

The talk of the town: Rouge Dior (P3,100), the first lipstick created by Christian Dior, this time with a meticulously engraved Plan de Paris pattern on the bullet itself. Two new vibrantly feminine color creations are introduced with the collection: 356 - Coral Avenue (satin finish) and 326 - Champs de Roses (satin finish). Two iconic shades also feature in the collection: 720 - Icone (velvet finish) is a blend of brownish pink with a deep blue undertone, while 100 - New Look (velvet finish) combines soft beige with a hint of rose.

Elevate your favorite Dior refillables with cases dressed in the ultra-chic Plan de Paris pattern. Take your ultra-hydrating Dior Addict shade of choice and house it in the limited-edition Dior Addict case (P2,150). The limited-edition Dior Forever Cushion case (P2,350) is an elegant home for the flower-infused, skin-perfecting Dior cushion base.

The Dior 2024 collection featuring the Plan de Paris pattern is now available across all Dior Beauty Boutiques and Counters nationwide.

And that’s it for this week’s Beauty News Roundup! Which featurette excited your inner child? Maybe it’s time to indulge the little beauty maven/fashionista inside of you. See you on the next one!
