Spotlight Cosmetics threw a fabulous Galentine’s soirée at The Grand Hausse last February 11, and it was definitely one for the books. Guests were treated to delicious bites, a beauty buffet like no other, and a dreamy setup filled with plush velvet and stunning art. But the real highlight of the night? Denice Sy, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Spotlight Cosmetics, unveiling the brand’s new campaign and tagline—You First.
The You First campaign is all about innovation and confidence, which is Spotlight’s way of putting the spotlight (pun intended!) on you. “Our stories and campaigns will always be about you. We prioritize the things that bring confidence to you,” the brand shared. And what better way to kick things off than with their very first-ever event? The Galentine’s soirée was a grand debut, featuring the launch of a brand-new eye collection and exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming Spotlight products. Lucky me, I got to experience it all firsthand—and I can’t wait to spill the details on the latest from Spotlight Cosmetics!
The New Eye Collection
The Spotlight 3D Mascara (P595/3g) is a game-changer, thanks to its bristle-less metal wand. If you’ve seen this type of wand go viral, trust me—it’s not just hype. The sleek, comb-like design lets you coat every lash with precision, giving you clean, clump-free length without the fuss. It’s the secret to effortlessly defined, fluttery lashes!
The Spotlight Mascara Remover (P495/4g) is the perfect partner to their long-wearing mascara. It comes with a grooved comb applicator that gently breaks down even the most stubborn formulas—no harsh rubbing needed! Infused with jojoba oil and vitamin E, it not only removes mascara effortlessly but also conditions your lashes, keeping them soft and healthy. It’s a must-have for anyone who loves bold lashes but dreads the cleanup!
The Spotlight Arch Eyeliner (P495/0.5g) is designed to make eyeliner application so much easier. Its slanted tip lets you create sharp, defined wings with minimal effort—whether you’re going for a subtle flick or a bold, dramatic look. Plus, it’s smudge- and water-resistant, so your liner stays put all day. No raccoon eyes here, just crisp, clean lines that last.
My Review
I got to try the new eye collection, and honestly, there’s nothing like a good mascara and eyeliner combo to instantly wake up the eyes! If you’re feeling intimidated by the mascara’s metal, bristle-free wand, don’t be—it’s surprisingly easy to use. I got the hang of it in just a minute! The slim wand lets you get super close to the lash line without smudging your lids, so every single lash gets coated without messing up your eyeshadow.
Pro tip: Start at the base of your lashes and swipe up in a Z-like motion for the best lift and separation. The result? Longer, thicker lashes that are completely clump-free. During my wear test, I was super impressed—my lashes stayed lifted all day and held a curl beautifully. No drooping, no smudging, just effortlessly defined lashes!

The Spotlight Eye Collection is completed with the Mascara Remover, which was specially formulated to pair with the 3D Mascara. Since the mascara is particularly hardy and not easily removed with water or regular makeup removers, this makes the process much easier. Now, you don’t have to use this remover, but in my experience, other removers took me two washes to fully take off the mascara.
An added plus? It contains jojoba oil and vitamin E, which help moisturize and strengthen lashes—so instead of feeling dry after removal, your lashes stay soft and conditioned.

Now, I did mention a makeup buffet unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I wasn’t kidding. In between courses of delicious food, guests were treated to exclusive previews of upcoming makeup collections, served quite literally like a multi-course meal.
