Beauty Roundup: New skincare from blk cosmetics and lip products from Happy Skin, Avon and Make Up For Ever!
Are you ready for December? I don’t think I am. I still don’t have my Christmas tree up. I haven’t selected my gift wrapper for this year. I don’t even have my holiday red lipsticks in order yet! How about you? Do you have any Christmas traditions? Anyway, speaking of tradition, let’s talk about the latest in this week’s beauty roundup!
More skin
There’s more members to the blk cosmetics Brightening & Soothing Line and we are totally here for them! Powered by the skincare superstar niacinamide and white bouquet complex, the new additions are the 2-in-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser (P499) and Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 50+ PA+++ (P549)! We love how both products are multi-taskers and combines the power of two products in one!
Coffee for three
Happy Skin just dropped three new Plush Matte Lip Tints (P549) and they’re brown shades we’ve all fallen in love with already - Cinnamon (rosy brown), Iced Coffee (warm brown) and Chai Latte (mauve brown). A quick refresher - these multi-use tints have a velvet matte finish, are non-drying, and leave a stain for up to 12 hours! Oh, and they have SPF 15! If the coffee we drink is strong, then so does this lip product!
This or that
New lipsticks from Avon - 26 of them to be more specific! The ULTRA Lipstick (P299) comes in two finishes - matte and creamy, is enhanced with nourishing complex, has a mocha-cream scent and offers SPF 15. To add to all the aforementioned goodness, these lipsticks feature a pointed bullet shape, which makes application so much more precise and easy. So the question is - matte or creamy? Perhaps both?
Make it last
Make Up For Ever invites us to eat, drink, kiss and do it all with their new Rouge Artist For Ever Matte (P1,350). Ultra-pigmented, intense and transfer-proof, these liquid lipsticks feature an exclusive swipe applicator (I personally love it so much) that helps apply the product seamlessly. The shade range, you might ask? Four nudes, one pink, three corals and three reds!
Okay, that’s it for this week. See you next time!
