I have been using the Cure duo for 10 years and I am still in love with it

Do you have that one product in your vanity that seems to be irreplaceable? That despite you trying out new ones every so often, you keep on coming back to it? For me, it is the Cure Natural Aqua Gel Gentle Exfoliator (P1,500 / 250g). It was in 2013 when I was first introduced to Cure and ever since then, I can no longer count how many bottles of it I have repurchased and downed. Yes, it has been almost 10 years but I still can’t stop gushing about it!
My love for Cure grew even more when I started using the Cure Water Treatment Moisturizer (P1,500 / 100g) with it. This duo has saved my dry, dehydrated skin countless times and is definitely an indispensable part of my routine.
The Cure Natural Aqua Gel Gentle Exfoliator is not hailed as Japan’s best exfoliator for nothing. It is the gentlest and most effective exfoliator, IMHO. It contains 90% activated hydrogen water that acts as a gommage exfoliant, which then gets rid of dirt and dead skin cells without the need for heavy rubbing or scrubbing.
I use Cure once to twice a week, depending on how dirty and dry my skin feels. Yes, you read it right - whenever I feel my skin is extra dry, I use Cure to slough off the dry patches. It actually works great as an exfoliant in between chemical peels. I find that by doing this, it helps stimulate skin renewal without causing further damage and trauma to the skin. Maintaining a smooth, radiant skin becomes so much easier, believe me!
The Cure Water Treatment Moisturizer is a no-fuss skin cream that delivers the effects of both a toning water and a moisturizer. Just like the Cure Natural Aqua Gel, it has 70% hydrogenated water that helps skin retain its natural moisture. It comes out as a light, white cream from the tube but it turns into water droplets upon contact with the skin.
Since my face is extremely dry, the Cure Water Treatment works best as a toning water for me. It not just gives an extra dose of hydration, it also helps in prepping my skin for the next products, especially those that come in thicker formulas.
It also works great as a pre-makeup skincare. The hydration it gives makes the skin smooth and soft, forging a perfect base for makeup. Since my skin gets thirsty after about 4-5 hours, I also use the Cure Water Treatment to instantly re-hydrate my skin. It is like a skin mist in a cream form!

I hope the photos above give justice to the wonderful effects these Cure products have on my skin. After exfoliating with the Cure Natural Aqua Gel Gentle Exfoliator, my skin already looks and feels smooth and soft. But the magic really happens after using the Cure Water Treatment Moisturizer. Notice how my skin becomes radiant and glowing in an instant? These are reasons why I am still using and loving Cure Natural Aqua Gel and the Water Treatment even after almost 10 years!
I don’t think I’ll ever stop raving about these two! They have established their positions in my routine so well that it would take a lot for the new products to replace them.
