The Weekly Haul: Origins, Maybelline, and Revlon
There are so many new products I can't wait to put on my face except...I only have one face. Still it's nice to see what's new in beauty first hand, thanks for brands sending their latest to the Project Vanity HQ. So! Here are some of the new things I have in line for review.
The Origins Three Part Harmony is described as an oil-infused serum that's meant to repair and renew skin, giving it some well-deserved radiance. I was a bit hesitant to use it at first since "oil-infused" tend to ring alarm bells in my head, but this is surprisingly light. It does not feel oily at all! I'm liking Three Part Harmony so far after a couple of uses. Origins has yet to disappoint me so I have high hopes.
I am all for heavy coverage in a BB cream! I'd rather not conceal (or conceal only minimally) so as to save time. The new Maybelline Super Cover BB Cream sounds interesting as it promises SPF50PA++++, high coverage, and all-day staying power. I swatched it and yup, it does provide coverage! The shade 02 Medium looks just about right on me too.
When I saw the Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer I groaned in my mind, "Another liquid lipstick???" But the first swatch kinda blew me away. THESE ARE RIDICULOUSLY PIGMENTED. I have to say that in all caps. It's also super shiny, like patent leather. See those colors? That's exactly what they look like when worn.
So that's my products-of-interest this week. Yours? What did you haul up this time?
