Halloween has literally come and gone, and already our favorite beauty brands are busting out their holiday collections! This week’s roundup has got the scoop on Happy Skin’s new (and super cute) look, some amazing mini treats from blk (it’s going to be a sparkly Christmas), and CoverGirl’s new brand ambassador. ‘Tis the season to be Happy (Skin)

It’s always exciting when beauty brands get a makeover! To celebrate their 6th year in the makeup industry, Happy Skin Cosmetics has changed up their look but will continue to keep their promise of “makeup you love, (with the) skincare you deserve”.

Attention, Riverdale fans! It looks like Betty Cooper has a new gig. CoverGirl just made the exciting announcement that they have tapped actress and spokesperson for self-confidence and love Lili Reinhart to be part of their growing family! And keeping with her stand on celebrating one’s uniqueness and being comfortable in your own skin, Lili did her own makeup for the announcement shoot. We can’t wait to see what other stunning (and empowering) campaigns the two will cook up together. Congratulations, Lili!

Down with Dove

In an effort to become more sustainable and environmentally responsible, Dove is taking a big step in the right direction by switching to 100% recycled plastic bottles by the end of the year! The brand and its mother company Unilever will be reducing the production of virgin plastic by more than 20,500 tons per year. Although there is still a long way to go, this initiative will already have a massive positive impact on the environment and will hopefully inspire other brands to work on similar plans. We can also look forward to Unilever’s goal that by 2025, all of their products’ packaging will be fully reusable, recyclable, or compostable!

A lash(ting) effect

Things are about to get flirty and fluttery! If you’re a fan of falsies then Christmas definitely came early for you because Anastasia Beverly Hills just announced that they are finally coming out with a line of false lashes! The first launch will include six strip lashes ranging from naturally wispy to gorgeous dramatic! Retailing between $12 to $16, these lashes can be worn up to 20 times. All lashes are cruelty-free and vegan, with five made from synthetic hairs and one made from human hair. Shop the new lashes on the ABH website here. We can’t wait for these to hit Sephora PH!
