Beauty Roundup: EB Pillow Pop Multi Pot, Blk Glossdrip, GRWM Lip Maxx, and Huda Ube Collection

Is it just me, or has January gone on forever?? The days feel long, but somehow they still feel like they’re not long enough. It sure looks like the local beauty industry is putting that to good use, though. There have been a couple of new launches (Blk Glossdrip and GRWM Lip Maxx) and a relaunch of a beloved multitasker (Ever Bilena Pillow Pop Multi Pot). Honorable mention: our native UBE is getting love from Huda Beauty with their limited-edition Ube Collection!

Ever Bilena Relaunches Pillow Pop Multi Pot

Who else here loves a multi-tasking makeup product? Happy news: Ever Bilena reintroduces their Pillow Pop Multi Pot (P295), an all-in-one cream to powder formula for eyes, cheeks, and lips. The bouncy, fluffy, creamy formula melts into the skin for a natural finish. EB has restocked this fan fave, with new shades to boot!

There are now a total of nine (9) shades. Choose from five (5) blush shades: Dreamy Sakura (nudish pink), Dreamy Dahlia (rosy almond), Dreamy Rose (reddish pink), Dreamy Coral (toasted coral), and Dreamy Punch (deep berry). There are also two shimmery hues: Glitzy Gold (shimmery gold), and Glitzy Champagne (frosted champagne). There are also two colors to shade and sculpt: Toasted Pecan (cool brown) and Toasted Oak (neutral deep brown).

All shades are ideal for use on the eyes and cheeks, while the blush colors also look great on the lips. EB Pillow Pop Multi pot is now available wherever you get your Ever Bilena fix! I for one can’t wait to try it out on my next visit to SM Beauty or Watsons. These would make great additions to my beauty kit, and at only P295 each, I could definitely build a versatile face palette for less.

New Blk Glossdrip

Do you like the staining power of a lip tint and the high-shine finish of a lip gloss? Get the best of both worlds with the newest drop from Blk Cosmetics: the Glossdrip (P379). It has an ultra-light gel gloss-to-stain formula in an array of eight (8) shades.

If you’re looking for warm shades, consider Cola (neutral brick), Lumi (peach terracotta), Button (peach nude), and Sangria (cherry wine). Those looking for cooler undertones may like Gummy (muted rose), Gumball (spice pink), Bow (blush pink), and Doll (sheer sunlit pink).

The best part? A beautiful, soft stain appears when the high-shine gloss fades.

Blk Glossdrip launched exclusively on Shopee last January 10th, but it should be available wherever Blk Cosmetics is now. They also launched the Glossed-up Pouch, available as a set with two or three Glossdrips.

New GRWM Cosmetics Lip Maxx

Homegrown brand GRWM Cosmetics adds Lip Maxx (P399) to its product roster. Designed specifically with the Philippine climate in mind, it is a moisturizing, nourishing, tinted lip balm that imparts a refreshingly cooling sensation on the lips.

Since it is from GRWM, it of course comes in varied shades with warm, cool, and neutral undertones. There are thirteen (13) shades: Hello, Apollo (warm light caramel brown), Mimosa (neutral coral pink), Maui (warm muted almond brown), Bellini (warm strawberry pink), Slush (warm burnt coral), Kismet (cool wine brown), Hot Choco (neutral cocoa brown), Confetti (cool dusty mauve), Tto-tto (neutral muted nude rose), Frisbee (cool cherry red), Fringe (cool rouge pink), Love, Charlie (neutral cherry red), and the limited-edition Disco Ball (clear with fine shimmers).

I appreciate that the brand formulated this liquid lip balm with the local climate in mind. A word of caution though: the product contains menthol, which may cause irritation if you have cracked, wounded, or chapped lips.

Lip Maxx is now available on Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok Shop, and the GRWM website. There is also a special Pop Up Store at SM Makati where you can experience the Lip Maxx magic for yourself!

Huda Beauty Ube Collection

I’ve seen Huda Kattan tease an intriguing lilac setting powder in social media since December 2024. When it officially launched, I had to pick up my jaw from the floor when it was revealed to be a limited-edition 3-piece collection inspired by UBE! Yes, ube—the humble purple yam many Filipinos have enjoyed through the centuries.

Huda Beauty even partnered with Sweet Indulgence, a Dubai-based bakery famous for their ube cakes. Apparently, brand founder Huda Kattan can’t get enough of it–she gets them every year for her birthday! This sweet addiction inspired her to launch the limited-edition Ube Collection.

Their bestselling Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder ($46) now comes in Ube Birthday Cake, an electric lilac shade for blushed and brighter under eyes, ideal for medium to tan skin with warm or olive undertones.

Still searching for that perfect lilac blush? Huda just might have it with their Blush Filter ($29) in Ube Cream.

If plumped lips are your jam, the Faux Filler Lip Gloss is now available in Uuu-Baby: a pinky lilac gloss with a touch of shimmer.

I just LOVE that our humble ube is getting much-deserved love in the spotlight. Get your fill of the Huda Beauty UBE Collection at HudaBeauty.com and Sephora. Hoping to find it when I visit Sephora.ph soon, too!

And that’s it for this week’s Beauty News Roundup! Are you eyeing something on the page? See you on the next one!
